This policy covers the Quiet Tools browser extensions: Quiet Feeds (hides distracting feed surfaces on YouTube, X, LinkedIn, and Reddit) and Quiet Clipboard (a local history of text you copy in the browser). The short version, for both: they collect nothing.
Neither extension collects, stores remotely, transmits, sells, or shares any personal data, browsing history, clipboard content, or usage analytics. There are no accounts, no telemetry, and no third-party services embedded in either extension.
Quiet Feeds saves your on/off choice for each hidden surface in your browser's extension storage. Quiet Clipboard saves your copy history and settings in local extension storage on your device only, and it never leaves that device. If your browser syncs extension settings across your own devices, that sync is performed by your browser under your browser account; the extensions never see it.
Quiet Clipboard makes no network requests of any kind. Quiet Feeds makes exactly one: it periodically downloads a public file of hide rules (CSS selectors) from this domain so fixes reach you quickly when a site changes its layout. That request contains no personal information.
Nothing is captured from password fields. Text shaped like card numbers or private keys is dropped before it is stored. Capture can be paused on any site.
Each extension requests only what its single function needs: site access to apply hiding styles or to hear copy events on the page you are using, and storage to keep your settings and history on your device.
